Terms of Accommodation

Application of these Terms

Article 1

1. Accommodation contracts and related agreements concluded by this facility shall be governed by these Terms. Matters not provided for in these Terms shall be governed by law or by generally established custom.

2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, this facility may agree to special arrangements to the extent that they do not conflict with the intent of these Terms, the law, or established custom.

Refusal of Accommodation

Article 2

This facility may refuse to provide accommodation in the following cases:

1. When no rooms are available due to full occupancy.

2. When the application for accommodation does not conform to these Terms.

3. When the person seeking accommodation is deemed likely to act, in relation to the stay, in violation of the law, public order, or good morals.

4. When the person seeking accommodation is clearly recognized as having an infectious disease.

5. When special burdens are demanded in relation to the accommodation.

6. When accommodation cannot be provided due to natural disaster, failure of the facilities, or other unavoidable causes.

Disclosure of Name and Other Details

Article 3

When this facility has accepted a reservation in advance of the date of stay, it may set a deadline and request the applicant to disclose the following:

1. The name, contact details, gender, nationality, and occupation of the guest(s).

2. Any other details this facility deems necessary.

Reservation Deposit

Article 4

1. When accepting a reservation, this facility may set a deadline and request payment of a reservation deposit of up to the accommodation charge for the period of stay.

2. Where a case under the following Article applies, the deposit shall be applied to the cancellation charge under that Article, and any remainder shall be refunded.

Cancellation of Reservation

Article 5

1. When the applicant cancels all or part of a reservation, this facility shall charge a cancellation fee as follows:

(1) Individual guests

1. Cancellation 7 to 3 days before the date of stay: 30% of the accommodation charge

2. Cancellation 2 days before the date of stay: 50% of the accommodation charge

3. Cancellation on the day before the date of stay: 80% of the accommodation charge

4. Cancellation on the day of stay, or failure to arrive without notice: 100% of the accommodation charge

(2) Reservations for 10 or more guests

1. Cancellation 7 to 3 days before the date of stay: 50% of the total accommodation charge

2. Cancellation 2 days before the date of stay: 80% of the total accommodation charge

3. Cancellation on the day before or the day of stay, or failure to arrive without notice: 100% of the accommodation charge

2. If a guest has not arrived by 8:00 p.m. on the day of stay (or, where an expected arrival time has been stated in advance, within two hours of that time), this facility may treat the reservation as having been cancelled.

Cancellation by this Facility

Article 6

1. Except as otherwise provided, this facility may cancel a reservation in the following cases:

(1) When any of items 3 through 6 of Article 2 comes to apply.

(2) When disclosure of the details under Article 3, item 1 has been requested and is not provided by the deadline.

(3) When payment of the reservation deposit under Article 4, paragraph 1 has been requested and is not made by the deadline.

2. When this facility cancels a reservation under the preceding paragraph, any reservation deposit already received shall be refunded.

Registration

Article 7

1. On the day of stay, guests shall register the following at the front desk of this facility:

(1) Name, address, age, telephone number, gender, and occupation.

(2) For foreign nationals: nationality, passport number, place of previous stay, and next destination.

(3) Departure date, number of guests, and departure time.

(4) Any other details this facility deems necessary.

Hours of Stay

Article 8

1. Rooms may be used from 4:00 p.m. until 11:00 a.m. the following morning. For consecutive nights, however, rooms may be used all day except on the days of arrival and departure.

Operating Hours of the Facilities

Article 9

The main facilities operate during the following hours in principle; hours may be changed temporarily. Current hours are also shown on notices in the building and in the in-room information guide.

1. Accommodation (bedrooms): 4:00 p.m. – 11:00 a.m. the following day

2. Front desk: 24 hours

3. Shower rooms: 24 hours

4. Lights-out: There is no set lights-out time; however, lighting in the shared spaces is dimmed after midnight. Please be considerate of other guests, including in your use of mobile phones, so that everyone can rest comfortably.

Payment

Article 10

1. Unless a reservation deposit has been received in advance, charges are paid at the front desk at the time of your stay, by credit card or IC card.

2. The accommodation charge shall still apply where a guest, after beginning to use the room, chooses not to stay.

Observance of the House Rules

Article 11

Guests shall observe the House Rules established by this facility.

Refusal of Continued Stay

Article 12

Even during an accepted period of stay, this facility may refuse continued accommodation in the following cases:

1. When any of items 3 through 6 of Article 2 comes to apply.

2. When the guest does not observe the House Rules under the preceding Article.

Exclusion of Organized Crime Groups and Anti-Social Forces

Article 13

Even during an accepted period of stay, this facility may refuse continued accommodation in the following cases:

1. When the person seeking accommodation is an organized crime group or a member thereof, an organization or person affiliated with an organized crime group, or any other anti-social force.

2. When the person seeking accommodation is a corporation or other organization whose business activities are controlled by an organized crime group or its members.

3. When the person seeking accommodation makes violent demands of the facility or its staff, or demands burdens exceeding a reasonable scope.

Responsibility for Accommodation

Article 14

1. This facility's responsibility for a stay begins when the guest registers at the front desk or enters the room, whichever is earlier, and ends when the guest checks out in order to depart.

2. This facility bears no responsibility for accidents arising from a guest's failure to observe the House Rules.

3. If this facility becomes unable to provide the guest's room for reasons attributable to the facility, it shall, except where this is difficult due to natural disaster or other causes, arrange other accommodation for the guest under conditions as similar as possible.

Responsibility for Parking

Article 15

This facility has no parking. Please use public transportation when visiting.

Amendment of these Terms

Article 16

With respect to matters not provided for in these Terms, or where this facility judges it necessary for its operations, the contents of these Terms may be changed without prior notice.

House Rules

To ensure a safe and comfortable stay for all guests, this facility establishes the following House Rules pursuant to Article 11 of the Terms of Accommodation. We ask for your kind cooperation.

If these rules are not observed, we may, pursuant to Article 12 of the Terms above, be obliged to refuse your stay or your use of the facilities, and you may also be held responsible. Please take particular note.

Age Requirements

1. This facility may be used only by guests aged 3 and over. Children under 3 years of age cannot use the facility.

2. Reservations must be made by a person aged 18 or over.
