Q. Can I keep my luggage before and after check-in time?
A. Yes, you can leave your luggage at the reception anytime on check-in day. In addition to this, we can stock your luggage until 4 p.m. after check-out.
Q. How can I cancel my reservation?
A. Cancelation guideline is included in “reservation conformation mail” that is send automatically after making the reservation.
Q. Can I change my reservation?
A. In order make changes it is necessary to cancel current reservation and make a new one. However, please be careful, because in case of any cancelation fee will be deducted. Our cancelation policy is available on our website.
Q. Is it possible to check-in after 11 p.m.?
A. Hostel is open for 24 hours a day and there is always someone from the staff at the reception. If you are arriving later that 11 p.m. please inform us in advance.
Q. Can I choose the location of the bed?
A. We will consider your preferences and will try provide preferred location depending on availability. Therefore, if you want to choose the location of the bed it is better to inquire that in advance.
Q. Can I pay with cash?
A. We do not accept cash, only credit/debit cards or Japanese IC cards (Suica, Pasmo, etc.)
Q. Can I pay with a debit card?
A. Yes, it is possible to make payment with a debit card.
Q. Can two people stay in one bed?
A. Each bed is designated to accommodate only one person. Therefore, if there are two people they need to book two beds.
*The only exception is BOOK AND BED TOKYO - FUKUOKA. It has BUNK DOUBLE size bed that is designed to accommodate two people.
Q. Which books do you have?
A. We have books of various genres including photo books, travel books, novels, cartoons, picture books, books written in foreign languages, etc.
Q. Can I stay with my children?
A. Yes, children are allowed to stay in the hostel. However, the price for their stay will be the same as usual, because there is no reduced price for children.
*If the person is staying alone and is under 18 years old then he/she needs to have consent letter from the parents.
Q. Can I bring my own food to the hostel?
A. Yes, it is possible to bring your own food to the hostel. However, please do not eat or drink in the room. We have common area on each floor for this purpose.
Q. Can I send my luggage to the hostel?
A. Yes, you can send your luggage to the hostel. However, we kindly ask you to inform us in advance if you do so.
Q. Do you have Wi-Fi in the hostel?
A. Yes, there is free Wi-Fi available.
Q. Do you have security lockers?
A. Each rooms has its own locker for your valuable items. There is no additional fee for using lockers.
